Tyana Specht

Hi! My name is Tyana, and I am the Customer Service Representative for Page Animal Wellness. I was originally born in Chicago; however, my parents moved to Page when I was 6 weeks old. I’ve since lived in Page my entire life. I also have been blessed with both five children and five grandchildren.

I started my veterinary career when I was putting orthodontic braces on the previous Page Animal Clinic’s owner’s child. The owner of the practice was impressed by my expertise and told me that she needed me at the animal hospital. And so, I started a week later. I had always loved animals, but I worked at the dental center doing orthodontics and general dentistry. When I started at Page Animal Wellness, my love for dentistry was transferred to dog and cat teeth. After many years and hand surgeries later, I was unable to continue practicing as a veterinary technician, so I moved to becoming the receptionist. While I was able to learn much of the veterinary industry through experience and fantastic mentorship, I solidified my training through a certification in radiology for dentistry from NAU.

My favorite hobby is spending time with and caring for my five amazing adult kids and their beautiful children (my grandbabies). I find myself constantly looking forward to family time, as my dad and mom are here in Page as well. My interests consist of a love of anything outdoors. My family and I love hunting and spending time in or on our lovely lake. I am very blessed to have grown up and lived in such an amazing community.
